A POEM From MOI (complete and utter gibberish, but hey, it makes sense(: )

The cupcake sat down on the cold oven stove,
And wondered about what the donkey had told,
'Don't count your chickens before they hatch',
As the baker baked up another batch,
But if you're not allowed to count what's not there,
Then how on Earth is that possibly fair,
If once you've made a decent cake,
(All sugar and icing and chocolate at stake),
Then the cake not eaten is actually wrong..
So don't count your cupcakes before they've all gone.

It has taken me FOUR HOURS to do my homework, and I still have EIGHTEEN PIECES left. Isn't that a bit harsh?! But anyway, here's my competition winners!

I liked Charli's one, and I think it's TRES clever what she said, but I know it only takes a few seconds to create on of these.

I absolutely ADORED Neevie's ones, but I worked it out that she'd maybe spent a teesnsy less bit of time o them than my winners?

I liked Emily's one, but it hasn't really got much to it, and I think it was a bit hard to read. Also, the donkey's more cute than awkward(:

I loved Nicola's one, but I know that it's really easy to make. *sighs*

I liked Kirthi's entries, though not only are they quite easy to make, but Kirthi also lives in America..

Lucy's entry was so cute! But It'd have been quite easy to make, and it would have been copyright if I had used it.

Shakira's was probably the easiest to make? And it'd have been copyright too, so I wouldn't have been able to use it anyway.

I wasn't too harsh then, was I? Oh I'm so sorry! But EVERYONE mentioned on this page will be added to my sidebar (as I said, if not already), and if I do not get an email from the winners with their address within the next 7 days, then they will be disqualified and the prize will automatically go to the next person down - you you may still have a chance of winning if you didn't just now!

Was It All A Dream?

Last night I had the weirdest dream - that a member of my family attacked me with an electric butchers knife, saying it won't hurt, but it did. A lot. And when I woke up my arms were numb.

What does that mean? Does it mean that it's not going to happen? Because I remember when  was about five I had a dream that I was going to get one of those my Little Ponies the next day. And I did. But it can hardly mean that I'm going to be  attacked by an electric butchers knife, riiiight?

And I often have this dream that I'd get to school and realize I'm completely naked. Huh?

And another that I'm running away from someone, running and running and running. But I'm getting slower and slower until...

But my worst dream ever was when I was a toddler, and my pillow and covers started hitting me. I ran into my parent's room and they gave me a bottle. But why was that scary? BECAUSE I'M CONVINCED IT WASN'T A DREAM. Up till this VERY day, I'm COMPLETELY SURE that it actually happened *glares at sniggerers*

I can normally wake myself up if 'm having a nightmare now, but when I was little the fear of never making it out alive scared me half to death.

Were you expecting a post telling you about what your dreams mean? So was , but I still have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA.

Anyway, on a brighter note, my competition winners are announced tomorrow! WOOO! And I have some GREAT prizes up for grabs...

Brain Freeeeeeeeeeze

Just a VERY quick post, because I'm going to sleep now because I'm just soooooo tired because all my family came over today and I am MENTALLY EXHAUSTED (can't you tell by my 3X because's?).

Firstly,  I'm not moving to Wales, as my Welsh family is moving down here.

Secondly, my competition ends on the 10th and I've got a GAZILLION BRILLIANT prizes!! *evil laugh*

And thirdly, do you get brain freeze? I've never had brain freeze, but I get stomach, neck and back freeze. Is that weird? And how do you eat ice-cream? Do you let it melt in your mouth or do you go straight in for the kill and chew it?

Amy's Fashion Advice... *turn away if you're easily scared*

Okay, so I'm NOT scheduling posts EVER AGAIN. As you can tell (since there was no post yesterday), it didn't work *glare*. So here's the post you were MEANT to read, YESTERDAY.

I've decided that when I'm older I want the be a fashion journalist, and criticise models in their PUG-AWFUL clothes. So, here's my first round of 'Amy's Fashion Advice - ENJOY!!




Model one's outfit is completely wrong. The shoes match the undershirt, though everyone knows that the shoes should match the accessory. In this case, the accessory would be the cardigan. This model is trying to let the light coloured trousers show off her legs, but the style is all wrong. Instead she should have had black trousers, a a white top with a black belt around the waist to tuck in her square body, and white shoes. And just scap that cardi, something that ugly does not belong on Google..

An outfit that I would have pieced together for model one is..

 
A floaty orange top, darker at the bottom to hide her round hips and hide her manly shoulders, but flaunt the feminine shape of her arms.

 
Tuck it into this skirt, and VOILA, she has a waist.


The shoes she had tried to wear was obviously trying to make her taller. But, there's  a more subtle way, and that's with these shoes.


A lighter hair colour will bring out her eyes, whilst enhancing her sharp cheekbones.


Now, onto model two.




First up the dark colour really gives her grey-ish looking skin. She'll need to compliment the black with white, if she wants cleaner-looking skin. The ruffles in this really hide her waist, giving her an oval look. She'll need to avoid this sort of outfit, as it completely clashes with her body shape. Instead, wear a black and white dress, tight at the waist, with loads of curves to show off her inner 'her'.

I would recommend...




A dress like this would be perfect for the model's body shape. It pulls in the waist, but pushes out the hips. The ruffles at the bottom would her look slimmer than with a straight dress, whereas the white bit would enhance her figure.


Matching shoes would be a must for this dress. Before she wore dramatic wedges really not helping her, but now she'll look taller, look like she has smaller feet due to the white, and it'll go with her outfit.


Long, dark hair with a fringe will give her face a lift, looking younger and more approachable.

As you guys know, I CANNOT write poetry. But I tried it today, and it worked out okay. So here it is... enjoy!

Your heart is a prison,
Your mind, the bars.

Your thoughts, only scar.

Your love, my drug,
Your dream is out seeking,
Hands covered in blood.

Angelic, your face,
But twisted, your frame,

I'd planned this UBER-COOL post today, but since I slept round Imogen (my cousin) 's again last night and finally went to sleep at about 2:00am, and since I've walked her dogs like SEVEN times and my body can't take the excersize, and I've got my interview with my SAM tomorrow and that's meant to be my LAST DAY OF FREEDOM and I can't even be bothered to type, I'm in a very BLATANT mood.

On a brighter note, my competition closes TOMORROW, and the prizes are absolutely BRILLIBUBBLE, so ENTER PLEASE(:

But on a duller note, I can't find out how to write a post on Blog For Joy, the blog that I was invited to write for. Help?

And I deleted all my Googled pictures from my new Tumblr because I'm now v. v. paranoid about copyright.

AND I have the dentist tomorrow.

Could teenage-dom get ANY worse!?!?!?!

Competition Update, My Internet Advice and One Very Hard Question...

Just a quick post because I'm staying round my cousin's house today so I won't be able to post there *sad face*.

I have had so many BRILLIANT entries for my competition that I'm finding it hard to choose who'll come 1st place. So therefore, if I manage to get one or two more mystery authors to supply a prize (see HERE to find out more) then there may be a few joint 1st places... (all the more reason to enter if you haven't already(; )

Also, I've deleted my proper internet and replaced it with Google Chrome, which I've found is RUBBISH and now my computer is really slow... *glare*

Whilst my computer was still going at top speed yesterday I decided to create my own Tumblr. But do you upload your own photos, or photos off Google *worried face* ?

And so, I'm going to leave you with this question to ponder over while I'm gone...

Does it annoy you when people skip (as in the exercise)?
